Dr. Mahoney has been asked to served on the review board of Journal of Mental Health Training, Education and Practice, a journal that highlights the critical workforce issues in mental health services, and provides an evidence base for workforce development, education and training. The journal includes national and international features and highlights service user involvement, as well as evidence in practice relating to new and advanced methods of working. It is included on the MACOB list of prestigious journals targeted by our faculty for preferred publication destinations.
MLRHR students are required to take the Human Resource Certification Institute’s practice assessment as an exit exam within their last semester of study. The assessment provides feedback concerning readiness to take the actual Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification exam. [Read More]
The Cleveland Foundation is looking for an HR intern. They would pay $12 per hour and hope that the candidate could work 10-15 hours during the school year and 30 or so hours over breaks and summers. They are looking to keep an intern anywhere from a semester to up to a year for the right person. Attached is a copy of the internship description.
