• Business Scholarship applications for Fall semester are due no later than June 30. Scholarship recipients will be notified by August 1.
• Business Scholarship applications for Spring semester are due no later than November 30. Scholarship recipients will be notified by January 5.
• Scholarships awarded by specific academic departments have varying deadlines. See below for details.

Business Scholarships

• Ahuja Endowed Fund in Business Administration & Engineering
  Awarded to students of Indian origin pursuing graduate coursework based on merit and financial need. Student must be here a minimum of two semesters. To apply: Call the Center for International Services, 687-3910.
• David L. Balint Endowed Scholarship
  Awarded annually to students pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
  
• David S. Rosenblatt Endowed Scholarship
  Awarded to single parents and/or students in IST/CIS.
• Dean Paul Anders CSU Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship
  Awarded by April 15 to College of Business students in sophomore or junior year. No fewer than 3 awards/year.
  
• Eddie L. Hardy Memorial Scholarship
  Awarded to freshmen business students with financial need; Preference to Cleveland Public School graduate.
  
• GEON Company Business Scholarship
  Awarded annually to two graduate students transferring from Central State University.
  
• H.Wolanski Business Scholarship
  Awarded to student majoring in Business or Law, with priority given to students of Ukrainian descent.
  
• Jacob G. Schmidlapp Scholarship
  Awarded to honors students, with preference given to Freshmen.
  
• National Association of Aluminum Distributors (NAAD) Scholarship
  Awarded to Marketing or Communications major; student must be full-time, must attend NAAD lunch meeting in late September.
  
• Nord Family Scholarship
  Awarded to EMBA students employed by a Non Profit Organization in Lorain County.
  
• Ron Coccari Business Scholarship
  Awarded to graduate or undergraduate students; Cumulative GPA, Academic achievement, and community service all considered, but no minimum GPA is required.
• URS Corporation Business Scholarship
  Awarded to students in the College of Business Administration, with priority given to women; any level, part-time or full-time; student must show financial need and provide recommendation from faculty.
  
• Waetjen Endowed Scholarship
  Awarded to business students completing junior year; minimum 3.7 GPA overall, active in co-curricular/community activities. To apply: Call CSU Financial Aid Office, Scholarship Coordinator, 687-3764.

Department of Accounting Scholarships

• Accounting OBA Scholarship
  Awarded to a student enrolled in 5th year of the Accounting program which will qualify the candidate to take the CPA exam; must be in good standing, must demonstrate financial need. To apply: Submit Accounting Scholarship Application to the Accounting Department Office.
• Ernest G. Wessel Memorial Scholarship
  Awarded annually to needy students majoring in Accounting or Finance, with 2.0 GPA or better. Must be an Ohio or Cleveland resident. To apply: Submit Accounting Scholarship Application to the Accounting Department Office.
• Raymond J. Hasman Endowed Scholarship
  Awarded to students pursuing an Accounting degree; declared major, 3.0 GPA in College of Business coursework, greater Cleveland resident, involved in community. To apply: Submit Accounting Scholarship Application to the Accounting Department Office.
• Corporate Scholarships
  From Ernest Wessel, IIA, Cohen & Company, KPMG, Barnes Wendling, Hasman, Walthall, Meaden and Moore, Becker, Ernst and Young, Ciuni and Panichi, Novogradac and Co., Federation of Schools of Accountancy, and the Ohio Society of CPAs.To apply: Submit Accounting Scholarship Application to the Accounting Department Office.

Department of Finance Scholarships

• NAIOP Commerical Real Estate Development Association Scholarships
  Scholarships will be competitively awarded to Finance majors with emphasis in Real Estate. Recipients to be chosen by Finance Department Chair. To apply: Go to the Finance Department Office, BU 321.
• Key Bank Student Managed Investment Fund
  For underrepresented minority students within the College of Business. Priority given to Finance majors. Recipient to be chosen by Finance Department Chair. To apply: Go to the Finance Department Office, BU 321.
• Paul J. Everson Scholarship
  Awarded to students with a minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing real estate as career; Must work a minimum 5 hr/week in the Real Estate Research Center during the scholarship period. To apply: Go to the Finance Department Office, BU 321.
• NAIOP Commerical Real Estate Development Association Scholarships

Department of Marketing Scholarships

• Cleveland Advertising Association
  Awarded to an Ohio resident pursuing a communications/marketing-related major at an Ohio college or university; must carry a full course load and hold a current minumum GPA of 3.0 or higher; must be in his/her senior, junior or last semester of sophomore year.
• Andrew C. and Lois Gross Endowed Scholarship
  Priority will be given to students enrolled in the MBA program, specializing in international business. The recipient of the Andrew C. and Lois Gross Endowment award will have demonstrated academic achievement, proven financial need, and shows great promise for completing the MBA.
• Chip Lawrence Memorial Scholarship
  Awarded to graduate or undergraduate students with a major in Marketing. To apply: Go to the Marketing Department Office, BU 460, College of Business.
• Daniel F. McCafferty Marketing Research Memorial Scholarship
  Awarded to a marketing major who is considered by faculty members to be the best marketing research student. In memory of Daniel F. McCafferty, an MBA alumnus who served as a member of the department advisory committee.
• Donald Scotton International Travel Scholarship
  Provided to help support the Marketing Department's annual Summer Study Abroad in memory of Donald W. Scotton, past Chair of the Marketing Department. To apply: Go to the Marketing Department Office, BU 460.
