Art Department

The Art Department offers three areas of study:

  • An Art Minor is offered in Studio Art and in Art History.
  • Graduate degree programs are offered in Art History (Master of Arts) and Art Education (Master of Education).
  • Non-degree certificate programs are offered in Graphic Design.

Faculty Work

The Cleveland State University Art Department offers undergraduate degree programs in Studio Art, Art History, and Art Education and master degrees in Art History (Master of Arts) and Art Education (Master of Education).

The Cleveland State University Art Gallery provides visual arts programming for the university and community. In addition to important local and regional artists, nationally and internationally known artists have participated in exhibitions, workshops, and lectures at the CSU Art Gallery.
