If the world is truly a stage, you will want to learn more about acting on the stage and in film. In this Learning Community, you will examine sophisticated concepts and methodologies associated with acting careers. Working with contemporary films, you will study vocal, physical, and psychological fundamentals of characterization for actors and productions. You may be surprised to learn about locations in the Greater Cleveland area that are often portrayed in stage and film works. Students in this Learning Community will become actively involved with research, writing, acting, and creating your own dramatic portrayals of life on the page, on the stage, in film and around the world.
