Cleveland State Offers $1,000 To New Spring Transfer Students

University to distribute an increase of scholarship funds raised in recent years

Cleveland – With a recent increase of financial contributions, Cleveland State is offering a special, one-time scholarship of $1,000 to all qualifying students who transfer to CSU for the upcoming spring semester. The offer will be granted above and beyond all other scholarships and grants to which a student may be entitled.

To qualify students must have between 30 to 89 credit hours from another university and a GPA of at least 3.0. Students must register for 12 credit hours or more by Jan. 13, 2012. Classes begin Jan. 14.

"We are very excited that we can offer this special scholarship," said Cleveland State Director of Admissions Heike Heinrich. "The economy has affected the ability of many students to continue their education, and we hope this added support can help them get back on track."

Students can apply online at engagecsu.com or request an application by calling (216) 687-5411. Cleveland State will be closed the week of Dec. 26 through Dec. 30.
