What is the Faculty & Staff Appeal?
The Appeal is an annual program to give faculty and staff the opportunity to support the University through the Cleveland State University Foundation. More than 150 volunteers work together each spring to coordinate the Appeal.

Why is the Faculty & Staff Appeal so important?
Contributions from faculty, staff and emeriti provide funding for programs and scholarships at Cleveland State University. Equally as important is the strong message this appeal sends to those outside the University, announcing to alumni, friends, corporations and foundations that we are Leading the Way in supporting our students and that this truly is an institution worthy of support. Many important publications such as U.S. News and World Report use faculty and staff giving as a factor to determine CSU's national rankings.

How can I make my gift?

• Payroll deduction (Your gift is deducted from your paycheck once each month.)
• Write a check payable to the CSUF (Cleveland State University Foundation)

May I designate my gift?
Yes! You may direct your gift to a specific college, department, program or scholarship within the University. Click here for the available options. However, your unrestricted gift to the Changing Futures Fund is encouraged and applied to the greatest need within the University.

Special Incentives and Recognition Opportunities

• All donors will be recognized in our Faculty & Staff Honor Roll published each year on our CSU Web site.
• Donors at the $1,000 or more level will be recognized as members of our Founders Society.
• Donors who make a planned gift to Cleveland State will be recognized as members of our C.V. Thomas Society.
