The staff at Center for International Student Services is here to assist you while you are a student at Cleveland State University. Here are some tips to help you use our services:

Face to Face Meetings

Walk in hours are on Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM and on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. It is best if you use walk in hours for simple quick questions, not situations that require a lengthy discussion. Everyone is seen on a first come, first serve basis. Appointments can be made by calling 687-3910. Same day appointments cannot be made unless there is emergency. Please note that the offer of a job is not an emergency. Serious legal or medical issues are emergencies and we do want to see you at once to assist you.

Appointments can be made with either Monica Plunkett or Wendi Kramer. Please use our online appointment form to schedule one. This can be found here. Other staff in the office can also assist with general questions.

Telephone

With nearly 900 international students on campus, Monica or Wendi may not be available when you call the office. However, if you leave a message with the receptionist, we will return your call within 48 hours. Please leave your name and phone number so that we may contact you. This is more effective than trying to call us throughout the day.
