
Do-Gooder Day will be in April of 2011. It is a Service Day Event, brought to you in partnership by the Student Government Association, the Center for Service & Leadership, CSU Alumni Association, HandsOn Northeast Ohio!, Viking Expeditions and Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities. Join us for a meaningful day of transformational service and “Do Good” in your community!
Online registration is closed. If you wish to participate in Do Gooder Day, come to onsite registration Saturday at 8am in the Student Center Atrium.
8:00am -- Check In (Student Center Atrium)
9:00am -- Deploy to service sites
9:30 am - 12:30 pm -- Service
1:00pm -- Dismissal back to campus
We will be using public transportation to get to service sites around Greater Cleveland. If you don’t already have a RTA U-PASS sticker please secure one from the Cashiers Office in Main Classroom.
Participants need to complete a waiver to participate when you check-in on Saturday. If under age 18, please have a guardian sign it before registration and bring with you.
Students attending Do Gooder Days will receive points for Student Organization of the Year Award (SOYA), Student Organization Service Award (SOSA), Student Leader Scholarship (SLS) leadership requirements and Leadership Certification service requirement. Full participation in Do-Gooder Day counts for 5 points per person (100 maximum per group). Please complete the Service Activity Form to earn your points or complete the form at your service site.
If you are interested in leadership role as site leader, please email Lisa Fellows to register for volunteer training on Thursday, April 7 from 3:00-4:00pm.

Do you want to participate in Do-Gooder Day but are unavailable on Saturday? Due to high demand and student availability, we are offering MULTIPLE projects during different times for Do-Gooder Day 2011.
Project Part 1: Tuesday April 12 1:00-4:00 PM
Are you interested in learning more about green space initiatives in Cleveland? Well, we have another service project available on TUESDAY APRIL 12 from 1:00-4:00PM at the Free Stamp located on the corner of E 9th and Lakeside at Willard Park (just East of City Hall on 601 Lakeside Ave). We will be meeting there at 1:00 PM so use your RTA U-PASS on route 14, 15, 19 or 1. The B Line Trolley is also free from Tower City.
Planned projects include: preparing for spring garden beds, planting fruit trees, and creating a walkway with recycled bricks from Stanard Urban Farm, so please come prepared to work with your hands and remember to dress accordingly to the weather.
As a follow up to Make a Difference Day, we will be collaborating with Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities again this spring. Come be a part of this exciting service project by registering below.

Working with seniors at Eliza Bryant.
